Who We Are
Pamlico Tree Care is owned by Jonathan and Kristie, and has been family run out of Grantsboro since 2000. Jonathan, who most people around here call Jon, is the one who comes and looks at your tree, and he is the one who answers the phone when you call.
Between them they handle tree removal, trimming, stump grinding, brush and debris removal, and tree and limb cabling across Craven, Pamlico and the surrounding counties. The team is fully insured, and the yard is on Old Bay River Road, which matters when something needs coming back to.
Pamlico Tree Care provides professional and reliable service for all your tree removal needs. We have been serving the Eastern North Carolina region with pride for many years, and we look forward to helping you with your next project. Don't wait, contact us today to get started.
A decade at the ENC Garden Show
Jon has taken a Pamlico Tree Care table to the ENC Garden Show in Craven County most years running, first with a hand painted banner and a bowl of candy, later with a row of Readers' Choice plaques on it. His daughter has been working the booth with him since she was old enough to hand out flyers.
The equipment has changed a good deal since the first of these photographs. The person who turns up to look at your tree has not.

How A Job Actually Runs
Jon Looks At It First
Before anyone climbs, Jon walks the tree. Where the weight is sitting, what is holding what, where the lines run, and whether the ground will carry the machine.
Rigging And Cranes
Heavy timber comes down on ropes or on the crane rather than being dropped. When a tree the size of a house comes apart there is always some impact. The work is controlling where it goes.
Debris Handled
Brush goes through the chipper on site and the wood goes on the trailer. Whether the chips stay for your beds or leave with us is your call.
Service Areas
We proudly serve the Greater Pamlico Sound and Craven County region, specializing in coastal forest management, residential estate care, and storm damage cleanup across eastern North Carolina.
