FAQ

Common Questions

Quick answers to what folks usually ask before they call. Don't see yours? Just reach out, happy to chat.

Do you offer free estimates? expand_more

Yes, every estimate is free, no obligation. Call (252) 745-7232 or fill out the form. We'll come walk the property and give you a written quote.

Are you fully insured? expand_more

Yes, we carry general liability and workers' comp coverage. Certificate of insurance is available on request for HOAs, property managers, and commercial clients.

What's your service area? expand_more

We cover Craven, Pamlico, Beaufort, and Carteret counties, including New Bern, Grantsboro, Havelock, Bridgeton, Trent Woods, Oriental, River Bend, and the surrounding eastern NC region. Don't see your town? Give us a call, if it's nearby, we likely service it.

Do you handle storm damage? expand_more

Yes. After a storm, hazard trees on structures, blocking access, or otherwise unsafe get scheduling priority. Call (252) 745-7232 any time. You'll get the owner, not an answering service, and we'll get out to take a look. Crews are scheduled Mon–Fri 8am–5pm, hazards first.

Can you help with insurance claims? expand_more

Yes, we work with adjusters regularly. We'll document the damage with photos, provide itemized estimates, and answer any questions your insurance carrier has.

Do I need a permit? expand_more

Most residential tree work in our service area doesn't require a permit, but it depends on the tree size, location (HOA, historic district), and local rules. We'll let you know during the estimate.

What payment methods do you accept? expand_more

Cash, check, and all major credit cards. For larger jobs, we can split payment into a deposit and a balance on completion.

How long does a typical job take? expand_more

A single residential removal is usually one day, sometimes a few hours. Larger projects (multiple trees, forestry mulching) get a project timeline at quote time.
